Lowell Obs Asteroids data too slow!

Oh my goodness! I decided to get rid of “ASTORB.DAT”, the file published by the Lowell Observatory containing asteroids orbit. This morning it took 30 minutes (yeah, minutes, not seconds) to retrieve that file (355 Mb). They turned file access from ftp into http, but actually is just a redirection to their old ftp server, running as slow as a snail.

I’m pretty sure that in new 1.3.5 version you’re gonna have Minor Planet Center data for asteroids as a primary source and JPL data as alternate source!

@#!§% !!
