** VERSION 0.9.9.324R CHANGELOG **

  1. Made room on the Main Windows for starting at resolution 1366 x 746. This should allow Uruk_One to run on old notebooks, provided that the retractable system panel is used. Already tested under Linux Kubuntu and Mint, should work on Windows as well.
  2. Eclipse Finder Tool: improved computing of the topocentric lunar apparent radius.
  3. BUG : if switched (Nasa or RC) from the Preference Panel DeltaT was not correctly updated. Solved.
  4. Into the Input Location Window the Combo Box for choosing Location Groups was replaced by buttons.
  5. BUG: into DeltaT Info Window data series were not cleaned after the first call. Solved.
  6. BUG : into Input Date/Time Windows the non-existing 0 were not refused. Solved.
  7. Goto Equinox/Solstices panel has been moved into the Tools Menu
  8. Replaced the long term ephemeris DE431 with the newer DE441. Unified files for Windows, Linux and Mac.
  9. DeltaT calibration slightly modified.
  10. Canons of Solar and Lunar Eclipses have been computed again with DE441 from year -13000 to 17000.

    I had the opportunity to read the article of Ryan S. Park about DE440 and DE441. The article specifies that Vondrak (2011) precession expressions are used but I was unable to find the value of the secular acceleration of the Moon. Of course, the article refers to the secular acceleration but unlike the article about DE430 and DE431, there is no value specified. Maybe the value will be specified when HORIZONS JPL switches from DE431 to DE441.
    Thank you for all the great improvements of next version.
    Anyway, I will let you know ASAP if I find the value of the secular acceleration later on.

    thanks for the info. Still a mystery to me why the lunar orbit diverges this way, I’m pretty sure the computing engine is ok (never say never though) simply because it’s the same I used for DE431. I’ve checked any mass value involved, and EMRAT (Earth-Moon barycentre ratio) is basically the same.
    Anyway the next version should be out on next weekend.
