Hi
Complimenti per questo meraviglioso lavoro
I have just downloaded the last version with DE441 files.
No problem regarding the installation of Uruk_One and DE441 files.
On my old laptop with a 1366 x 768 screen, the debug information states : main window = 1366 x 746.
So I can see all the screen of Uruk_One provided I select “Automatically Hide the Taskbar in Settings”.
You improve the readability of the current date on the upper right corner, so that’s far better.
Good idea : Go to equinoxes / Solstices (Tools menu), new Location selection buttons.
Just a quick check, using DE441 : mutual occultation of Jupiter and Mars on 12 September 1170 as seen from Beijing at 20:26 UT.
I notice : on 12 September 1170, the date (+ 1 s) is 20:23:59 then 20:23:60 then 20:24:01 instead of 20:24:0.
The apparent horizontal topocentric coordinates of Mars and Jupiter are (20:26 UT), location 39°54′24″N 116°23′51″E
Uruk_One (DE441) Mars OA = +70° 11′ Az = 157° 02′
IMCCE (INPOP) Mars OA = +70° 12′ Az = 157° 03′
Very good.
I notice in the location list there are 2 Beijing :
314 Beijing 116° 28′ E 39° 54′ N
224 Beijing 116° 23′ E 39° 54′ N (same as Wikipedia).
From time to time, when I open a window, for instance LOCATION, I cannot close it by means of the x or done button : I must click once on the Uruk_One icon in the taskbar then I have to click once more on the icon and the LOCATION window is closed.
Also, when I want to close Uruk_One main window, either with the x on the upper right or with File / Exit, nothing happens. If I click on the icon of Uruk_One in the taskbar, I see the Quit Request window : Do you really want to quit ? If I click on Yes, the program is closed. As far as I understand, the Quit Request window is located under the Main window instead of in front of it.
Best regards.
Hi,
Merci pour l’appréciation, l’application s’améliore et je suis très satisfait 🙂
The progression 20:23:59 then 20:23:60 then 20:24:01 actually is correct. The central value 20:23:60 is equivalent to 20:24:00 and is just due to rounding : 59.5999 is shown as 60 and should be fixed.
I have set my Windows 10 VM at 1366×768 and tinkering with the program I still can’t reproduce your problems about the windows. Everything’s looks fine. Let’s see….
Regards
I am not at home at present so next week I will install Uruk_One on my desktop and my new laptop (W10), both with Full HD and see if the problem regarding the closing of the windows is related only to my “old” laptop (3 years) or not. Anyway, its only a small issue that doesn’t prevent using the program.
Regards.
Hi
After installing Uruk_One on my desktop and laptop (W10) with full HD 1920 x 1080, everything works fine, so the problem regarding the closing of the windows (main, location or date-time) seems related to my old laptop due to an unknown reason.
Regards
HI,
thanks for the info, mysteries of Windows. By the way, is your old laptop running W10 as well?
Hi
My old laptop (3 years old…), an HP 14′, 64 bits, with 4 Go MEM, 1 To hard disk, uses latest version of Windows 10 and my Intel graphic card was updated.
After uninstalling and reinstalling Uruk_One, the problem is still there : the only way to close a windows is to click once on the icon in the taskbar and click again.
It is a rather strange behaviour I never encountered with other softwares but as there is no problem at all with my other computers also on W10, it could be related to my Intel graphic card.
Regards.
Hi,
looks like an issue related to forms order management. I mean that clicking on the taskbar icon probably you assign the focus to the main window that for some reason was not the active form in that moment. Another software compiled with Lazarus is Cartes du Ciel, even though it uses a resizable window as main form.
